Johnny has spent over 22 years working in financial services and is currently Director of Financial Assistance at Barclays.
In 2018, Johnny chaired the UK Finance Financial Abuse Code working group, helping to shape the UK’s first Financial Abuse Code of Practice for banks and building societies. He brought banks together around a shared commitment to do better, ensuring that people experiencing financial abuse are met with understanding, not barriers, when they reach out for help.
The Code continues to make a real difference, helping banks recognise financial abuse and respond in a way that supports people to feel safer and more in control.
Johnny cares deeply about this work and is committed to continuing to drive change—so that victims and survivors of domestic and financial abuse are heard, supported and able to move forward with confidence.
